Newmarket’s Main Street area holds genuinely historic homes with painted wood siding and trim, while Stonehaven and Woodland Hill are newer family subdivisions.
Every corner of Newmarket is covered, and most of what borders it — call 289-988-1318 if your street is not named above.
Newmarket has a genuinely historic core, and Main Street south is the part of town where painting is a craft rather than a process. The houses around there have painted wood siding, wood trim, porches, brackets and sash windows carrying a very long paint history, and much of it is oil underneath. That means bonding primer, it means real scraping, and on some elevations it means accepting that stripping is the only honest option.
Stonehaven, Woodland Hill, Summerhill Estates and Glenway are newer family subdivisions where the work is interior and straightforward — whole-home repaints, kids' rooms, kitchens and the trim that builder-grade finishing left flat. Armitage and Bristol-London sit between the two eras with a mix of both.
We have done a lot of work in Newmarket, including a full interior on Dales Avenue that still gets used as our reference project for bathroom and trim finishing. Ask and we will show you photographs of local work rather than stock images of somebody else's house.
Cabinet refinishing is unusually popular here. A great deal of Newmarket housing has kitchens from the late 1990s and 2000s in sound structural condition, and spraying those doors is a fraction of the cost of replacing them. We take the doors off, degrease, sand, spray them off-site and rehang them on their original hardware.
Yonge Street through Newmarket also gives us a steady run of small commercial and retail interiors, which we schedule outside business hours as a matter of routine.

Newmarket’s Main Street area holds genuinely historic homes with painted wood siding and trim, while Stonehaven and Woodland Hill are newer family subdivisions. It matters because preparation decides how long a finish lasts, and what a Newmarket house needs depends entirely on which of those it is. We quote from what we see on your Newmarket walls, not from a price list.
Typically 1–3 weeks from quote acceptance, depending on the season. Small commercial and retail interiors along Yonge we schedule outside business hours as a matter of routine. Call 289-988-1318 for current availability in Newmarket.

Benjamin Moore (Aura, Regal Select, Advance), Sherwin-Williams (Emerald, Duration), PPG, and Farrow & Ball on luxury projects. Cabinet doors are degreased, sanded and sprayed off-site, then rehung on their original hardware — a fraction of the cost of replacement. We never use builder-grade or economy paint.
Yes — general liability insurance and WSIB coverage. Proof of insurance is available on request, and we re-confirm both for every commercial or condo board project.
The historic houses south of Main Street usually have oil underneath, so a bonding primer goes on first and some elevations genuinely need stripping. Preparation is around 60% of a quality paint job and we never skip it — filling, sanding, priming and masking all happen before any colour goes on, and we clean up daily.
