A documented Sigma staircase refinish from elsewhere in the GTA. It demonstrates the preparation and finish available in Burlington, but is not presented as a Burlington project. Drag the slider to compare.

A powder room documented in Sigma's Newmarket project photography, with detailed work around a decorative floral mural, trim, crown moulding and the ceiling. It is shown here as finish evidence, not as a local project claim.

Aldershot and Roseland have mature homes with painted wood trim and soffits; Alton Village and The Orchard are newer stock where builder-grade interior paint is usually the first thing to go.
Every corner of Burlington is covered, and most of what borders it — call 289-988-1318 if your street is not named above.
Burlington runs from the escarpment down to the lake, and the housing changes the whole way. Aldershot, Roseland and the downtown streets have mature homes with real painted wood — trim, soffits, fascia, porches — often on their fourth or fifth coat, where the honest answer is that some of it needs stripping rather than recoating. Tyandaga and Brant Hills sit up against the escarpment with mature tree cover, which means shade, moisture retention and, on north elevations, mildew that has to be killed and cleaned before a brush touches it.
Alton Village, The Orchard, Millcroft and Headon Forest are the newer half of the city. Structurally sound, finished with builder-grade paint, and usually needing a whole-home interior repaint somewhere between year five and year ten. This is the most common Burlington job we take, and it is the most straightforward: walls, ceilings, trim and doors in one continuous run, priced by the house rather than by the room.
Down by the water the exposure is real. Properties near Lakeshore and the pier take wind and moisture year-round, and exterior wood there has a genuinely shorter recoat cycle than the same wood in Millcroft. If you are on that side of Burlington we will build that into what we tell you about longevity.
Condominium work is a growing share of what we do here, particularly downtown and along the lakeshore. That comes with building rules such as elevator booking, working hours and floor protection in common areas, and we handle the coordination with property management rather than leaving it with you.
Burlington also sits on Hamilton's doorstep, and we treat the two as one working area. Aldershot ends at the canal, and Waterdown, Dundas and Ancaster are minutes up the road — so the same crews that handle house painting in Burlington work across Hamilton without a separate schedule or a travel premium. If your property is on the Hamilton side of the line, from Stoney Creek to the west mountain, the estimate process and the painters who show up are exactly the same.
Inside the house, the residential painting menu covers everything a Burlington or Hamilton home actually needs: walls, ceiling painting on flat and vaulted ceilings, basement painting once a lower level is finished or refinished, kitchen cabinet painting as the alternative to a $30,000 replacement, staircase staining, and the drywall repair that so often has to come first. A colour consultation is part of the estimate when you want it — most Burlington clients narrow hundreds of Benjamin Moore chips to two or three testable options in one visit.
Commercial painting rounds out the picture. Offices, retail units, clinics and restaurants along Brant Street, Plains Road and Fairview get the same preparation standard as our residential work, scheduled around business hours so a repaint never costs you an open day. Commercial painting services here run from single tenant improvements to recurring maintenance programs for property managers on both the Burlington and Hamilton sides.
Burlington is a priority growth market for Sigma's luxury residential painting, whole-home interiors, custom-home painting, millwork spraying, cabinetry and exterior work. Local project evidence will be added as it is documented, so the page remains clear about the difference between current service capability and published Burlington case studies. In the meantime the numbers are easy to check: the quote calculator gives an instant Ontario-market range, and a free estimate at your Burlington home — measured on site, in writing, with no obligation — is a phone call away at 289-988-1318.

All of them. We work throughout Burlington, including Aldershot, Downtown Burlington, Roseland, Millcroft, Headon Forest, Tyandaga, Alton Village, The Orchard and Brant Hills. We also cover neighbouring Oakville, Mississauga, Milton, Toronto. If your Burlington street is not on that list, call 289-988-1318 and we will confirm in a minute.
Aldershot and Roseland have mature homes with painted wood trim and soffits; Alton Village and The Orchard are newer stock where builder-grade interior paint is usually the first thing to go. It matters because preparation decides how long a finish lasts, and what a Burlington house needs depends entirely on which of those it is. We quote from what we see on your Burlington walls, not from a price list.
Typically 1–3 weeks from quote acceptance, depending on the season. North elevations up against the escarpment through Tyandaga and Brant Hills hold moisture, so those walls need a genuinely dry stretch. Call 289-988-1318 for current availability in Burlington.
Yes. We come out to the property, measure the actual scope, talk through finishes and email a written quote — usually within 1 business day. No charge, and no pressure to book afterwards.
Benjamin Moore (Aura, Regal Select, Advance), Sherwin-Williams (Emerald, Duration), PPG, and Farrow & Ball on luxury projects. Mildew-resistant exterior coatings matter on the shaded escarpment-side properties, where tree cover keeps walls damp well into the day. We never use builder-grade or economy paint.
Yes — general liability insurance and WSIB coverage. Proof of insurance is available on request, and we re-confirm both for every commercial or condo board project.
Shaded Burlington elevations carry mildew that has to be killed and cleaned off before a brush touches them, or it grows straight back through the new coat. Preparation is around 60% of a quality paint job and we never skip it — filling, sanding, priming and masking all happen before any colour goes on, and we clean up daily.
For a Burlington condo or house around 1,000 sq ft, a walls-only interior repaint typically runs $2,800–$4,500 in labour, with paint and materials billed at cost on top. Adding trim and doors raises that by about a quarter, and including ceilings by about half. Those are the same ranges our quote calculator uses — and what you actually book against is a fixed written quote from a free on-site visit, not a per-square-foot guess.
Professional painters in Ontario generally charge in the range of $50–$85 per hour per painter in 2026, with spray finishing and work at height toward the top of that. Sigma does not bill hourly in Burlington: every project gets a fixed written quote based on the measured scope, so a slow day on site is our problem, never yours.
A standard 12x12 bedroom in Burlington runs $400–$700 in labour for walls with standard-height ceilings in good condition, with materials billed at cost. Painting the trim, doors and ceiling adds to that, and heavy patching or wallpaper removal moves a room toward the top of the range. Larger rooms price differently — a living room runs $700–$1,400, a dining room $500–$900.
The interior walls of a typical 1,500 sq ft three-bedroom Burlington house run $4,500–$7,500 in labour. The full package — walls, trim and ceilings, which is the most common whole-home job we quote in Alton Village and The Orchard — lands at roughly $6,750–$11,250 before materials, which are billed at cost. Exterior painting is priced separately by home size, height and the condition of each elevation.
