Can you paint while we are still living in the house?
Yes. For interior painting and cabinet painting, we plan the work zone around the rooms you need to use. We protect floors, cover furnishings, set up containment where preparation calls for it, and keep a clear route through the home whenever the layout allows.
How do your dust barriers work?
We build a temporary clear-film barrier on telescoping poles, then seal its edges and install a zipper entry where the crew needs access. The barrier separates sanding and preparation from the occupied side of the home. The exact setup is matched to the room, opening sizes, and scope of work.
What tools do you use to reduce dust?
For sanding and preparation, we use Festool dust-extraction equipment with HEPA-grade filters. The extractor connects directly to compatible sanders so dust is captured at the source instead of spreading through the room. No preparation method eliminates every particle, but this approach materially reduces dust exposure in the home.
Do you protect hardwood, tile, and carpet during house painting?
Yes. We use the floor protection that suits the surface and project conditions, then mask edges and traffic paths before preparation starts. Furniture, fixtures, cabinets, countertops, and built-ins are protected as part of the scope, not as an afterthought.
Can this setup be used for cabinet painting?
Yes. Cabinet painting needs particularly careful isolation because boxes are prepared in the kitchen while doors and drawers may be finished separately. We mask the kitchen, protect floors and counters, and use contained sanding and extraction for the on-site preparation work.
